Excitement

There are so many ways to enjoy this word. The one thing that gets me excited is God and His purposes for planet Earth. God not only created our world but also sustains it and has given us a manual for living in it – the Bible. God inspired ordinary people to write down His words that have become life changing for so many.

When the human race got into great difficulty (having not carried out God’s simple plan to not eat of the fruit of the tree in the beautiful garden God had given to the first people to tend) he sent an answer, Jesus His only Son, too. He it is that puts back into place the original plan of God to bless the human race and to help it and love it.

When I was a teenager, I craved for love – not just the physical kind but a depth of knowing that I was loved. I became a Christian when I was 17 years of age and since then, I have been experiencing how much God loves me. His is a personal love, much deeper than any human love and as I continue to grieve for my late husband, God’s love surpasses and holds me up.

Children of all ages and cultures and nationalities need to know they are deeply loved and that someone actually died for them to know that love. We look up to those who sacrifice their lives while thinking of others and Jesus was no exception. He actually gave his life for the whole human race so that they could experience the excitement and wonder of God’s perfect love that casts out all fear (see 1 John 4:18).

The Creation Series of Diamond Books, Set A, shows children the grandeur and order with which God made the world and the excitement that all creation had living in perfect harmony with their Creator. These books are primarily for reading to 3–4 year olds but older children including many autistic children have enjoyed looking and reading them for themselves.

Let’s get excited at what God has in store. His plans for us give us a future and a hope (see Jeremiah 29:11) and he’s promised to come back for us. However, we need to be ready – start reading the gospels of the New Testament today to find out more!
