Plants and Lights Image 1

“Plants and Lights” is the third of eight books in “The Creation Series.” Here, children are introduced to the Genesis account of the third day of Creation. What God did on this day is described in very simple language. The book is beautifully illustrated in full colour by Sharon Rentta.

In Book 3, Todd, Joy and Daniel are getting ready to go outside. They are going to see trees and flowers and fields of corn. But who made all these plants in the first place?

God’s Word, the Bible, tells us that in the beginning God made the world and he put lights in the sky to brighten up the world during the day and at night. He put plants in the land that grew and grew. God was pleased with what he made.

The Creation series is intended to be read to 3-4 year olds. In these books, children can also develop and practise preparatory skills for reading as well as see the wonder of God’s order in creation.
