“Animals” is the sixth of eight books in “The Creation Series.” Here, children are introduced to the Genesis account of the sixth day of Creation. What God did on this day is described in very simple language. The book is beautifully illustrated in full colour by Sharon Rentta.
In Book 6, Joy, Todd and Daniel are playing with a pet rabbit. It’s really cute and great fun. But who made rabbits in the first place? And what about all the other animals?
God’s Word, the Bible, tells us that in the beginning God made the world. He made all the animals, large and small and gave them everything that they needed. Tall giraffes and cheeky monkeys were all made by our Father God. They all belong to him.
The Creation series is intended to be read to 3-4 year olds. In these books, children can also develop and practise preparatory skills for reading as well as see the wonder of God’s order in creation.
