“We make our plans but God has the final word.” (Proverbs) I wouldn’t want it any other way.  When we’ve done our best at planning a situation, somehow God always supersedes it with a much better plan.  Am aware that our minds are the battleground for decisions – how they need renewing day by day so that we enter into God’s thoughts and ideas of operating.

It constantly amazes me at the detail with which God works even with little things and issues.  He is mindful of every breath we breathe and the even the small germs that can’t even be seen with the naked eye.  How much more he keeps his eye on his children who are his delight and the wonderful fact that every human can become his child and share his delights just for the asking.

God has given us freewill to choose his way or not but somehow our own way can end up fractious and bitter if we let the spirit of this age get to us.  God wants to give us life and give it to us in abundance whereas the enemy of our souls wants to steal and kill and destroy mankind and all his interests and even the planet that we live on.

Debates can happen about the truths of God but in the end it is God’s word that counts.  It is eternal and everlasting.  His word endures forever, too so we need to ensure that we and our children know what it says. ‘Diamond Books’ seeks to present God’s word to children so that they can learn God’s ways of operating and his deep deep love for them that conquered death to rescue them and us all.

When you next plan something, make room for God’s bigger plans so that you can be assured of his leading and care along life’s road.  The Bible says that “without him we can do nothing” (John 15:5) so let’s let God do everything for us even all that planning especially for our children’s sake.
